Situated just 10 minutes from the main A38 yet just inside the stunning Dartmoor National Park and close to the Teign Valley, this is a perfect spot to explore the area whether by car, on foot or bicycle. The village of Hennock has a pub, The Palk Arms, and is within 5 minutes drive. The lovely towns of Chagford, Bovey Tracey and Ashburton are within 15 minute’s drive and the cities of Exeter and Plymouth just half an hour.

The space

In glorious countryside, on the stunning edge of Dartmoor! This lovely hut has all you need for a romantic stay!
From parking area, path across orchard. Up steps and into Hut, Shower Room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. Kitchen area has Belfast sink, wooden worktops, microwave, fridge. Dining area with bench style seating and beautiful handmade table. Pull down bed (small double 4’).
Outside: a beautiful orchard with fruit trees and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Outdoor furniture and fire pit
Linen: All bed linen, towels and tea towels are supplied.
Heating: Electric heating and hot water.
Parking: One allocated parking space.
Wifi available.
Pets: Pets are not permitted.
Please note that the Shepherd’s Hut is located on a working beef farm and whilst totally private, access to the Hut is through the farmyard and therefore within close proximity to the animals. The owner’s are on site and are available if necessary.
