Extensively refurbished in 2018, Clementine Cottage is a converted detached barn set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, within 87 acres of rolling farmland belonging to Churchill Farm.
The space
The Space: The Cottage is a single storey property with a couple of steps down to the bedroom area.
From the front entrance the hallway leads to a superb open plan kitchen/dining/ sitting room with double french doors out to the terrace and garden. The well-equipped kitchen area offers fitted oak painted units, five-ring gas range cooker and oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and washer/dryer . There is a dining table, four chairs and a high chair. The sitting area is tastefully furnished with two sofas, TV with Sky , DVD player, and an electric flame effect fire for cosy evenings.
The hall leads to a tastefully furnished master bedroom with a king-sized bed, wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There is a smaller second bedroom with twin 3′ beds, a chest of drawers and hanging facilities.
Off the hallway is also a beautiful modern stone tiled bathroom with underfloor heating including bath, shower (over), wash-hand basin, WC and a heated towel rail.
Outside: Clementine Cottage offers a private enclosed garden and patio bordering the farm taking full advantage of the lovely unspoilt views down to the sea.
Garden furniture and a barbecue are also provided.

Location
It has fantastic views out across the valley to the sea at North Sands and beyond and is just 1 1/2 miles from the beautiful estuary town of Salcombe, with its spectacular coastline and fine sandy beaches.
Located just 1 1/2 miles away, Salcombe can be reached by car and also via the cycle/walk path at the top of the drive.
Opposite the top of the driveway is Ashby’s of Salcombe, an independent shop including a local butcher- Salcombe Meat Company- plus a café and an eclectic range of goods including local produce, food and wine supplies plus garden, hardware and marine products.
The village of Malborough is within walking distance along the cycle path (approx. 15 mins) and has a Co-op store plus filling station and two pubs.
Salcombe lies at the heart of the South Hams region, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Renowned for its sailing, crystal clear turquoise waters and sandy beaches, Salcombe retains much of its original charm and provides a wonderful selection of independent shops, restaurants and public houses.
