Sea Shanty, number 421 Norton Park, near Dartmouth is a recently refurbished holiday chalet in a modern contemporary style offering a peaceful retreat. Formerly known as Sea Hut with many 5* reviews, under new ownership and now dog friendly the chalet is within a stone’s throw of some of Devon’s most sought after attractions.

The space

Tastefully decorated offering well equipped accommodation of a very high standard with an open plan kitchen/ dining / sitting area and a bedroom area which can be partitioned off .
This lovely chalet is ideal for a couple (max 2 adults) or small family, as a base to explore Devon’s historic towns, stunning beaches, the Dart estuary and the glorious countryside all on the doorstep.

KITCHEN AREA is fully fitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster .

SITTING AREA has a new sofa bed, a fold out table for 4 people for dining and games, plus a TV, RADIO and DVD player.
The Double bedroom area can be partitioned off with a curtain if required.
The front windows are privacy tinted.
SHOWER ROOM with shower cubicle, basin and WC.

OUTSIDE there are communal lawns and use of deck chairs and folding table, small BBQ.

Duvets, pillows and all bed linen and towels are provided with the exception of beach towels.

Please note maximum occupancy is 2 adults & 2 children

The property allows up to 2 well behaved dogs at a small extra charge for each . NO SMOKING allowed.

There is ample parking.

Other things to note

PARK & RIDE is ¼ mile away. BUS STOP at entrance to Norton Park.
There is no Wi-Fi but receives a strong 4G signal.

Please be aware that there are no facilities at NORTON PARK.

Beautiful historic town of DARTMOUTH (1mile) with its river and castle. Try sailing, rib rides, paddle-boarding or hire a motorboat.

From Dartmouth take a PLEASURE CRUISE to the beautiful unique historic town of TOTNES and visit the castle there.

Catch a ferry across to KINGSWEAR and take a STEAM TRAIN to PAIGNTON , or walk to the beautiful historic COLETON FISHACRE house and gardens. (National Trust )

Walk or drive to the stunning village of DITTISHAM (4 mile).
From there catch the local ferry across to AGATHA CHRISTIES GREENWAY house and walk around the superb walled gardens.

Discover coves, dolphins, seals or hire an electric bike to really test the hills.

Spend a day at WOODLANDS LEISURE PARK with all it’s rides, water shoots, zoo and farm, circus drome, indoor adventure zone, falconry and wildlife walks. ( 2 miles )

Get out on the DARTMOUTH GOLF COURSE (2mile) away and enjoy the facilities of the Spa, bars and restaurant there.
