A ground floor Grade 2 listed character apartment with log burning stove set in the heart of Dartmouth. The apartment is very close to all the amenities with shops, restaurants and the harbour front all within a few minutes walk of the front door.

From roadside to Front door (3 steps up to living area), open plan Sitting Room/Kitchen, sitting area has Smart TV, kitchen area has electric oven, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Dining area with large table. Up one step to Bedroom with king size bed, TV, ensuite Shower Room with basin and WC.

Linen: Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels provided.
Heating: Woodburner and central heating.
Parking: Parking is limited in Dartmouth but most of the year there is parking available in the Mayors Avenue car park. (See further parking information in the sections below).
Wifi available.
Pets: Pets are not permitted.

Guest access

At busy times the Park & Ride is excellent, dropping at various location is the town.
We are centrally located and once you are in Dartmouth getting around on foot is easy including to local walks and Dartmouth Castle.
There are bus links to surrounding areas ( bus stops are located a 5 minute walk away on the harbour front).

Other things to note

It is possible to load/unload outside the property – the streets are narrow and the road up to the apartment quite steep so please bear this in mind.

Location

The flat is located within a short (within 5 minutes) walk from the “boat float” and harbour front (up a short hill to keep you fit). The area of the street that we are on is residential, there are cafes, restaurants, delis and shops within a few minutes walk of the property. Coastal walks and Dartmouth Castle are all within 30 minutes walking distance, as well as access to the higher and lower ferries which take you to Kingswear and allowing for shortened journeys into Torbay. The higher and lower ferries accept both vehicle and passenger access, and for longer stays offer a season pass, available online for both ferries. The ferries offer single and return journeys, which can be payed for by card on both ferries, so no need to worry about carrying extra cash with you!

The Dartmouth steam railway in Kingswear is accessed by the lower ferry, and is a beautiful, scenic and historic way to make a return journey further into Torbay along the coastline of Paignton.

There is also a superb beach at Blackpool sands, just before slapton sands, which are only 20 minute journeys by bus or car from the apartment. Staying on the South Hams and Dartmouth side, a 30 minute journey to Kingsbridge and Salcombe is well worth the drive, with beautiful estuary views at both of these locations.

We also have stunning restaurants in Dartmouth, including Rockfish, Taylor’s, Alf fresco, Kendricks and many others, we would definitely recommend booking ahead for these restaurants as they are all well renowned!
